The past couple of weeks have seen the trusses fully framed.
The structure is open and airy. The center posts and bottom chords of the trusses are delicate 2"x4"s. Supporting them, the columns and beams are built up of two 2"x members with space between, which gives a lighter feel than solid wood. Those long extensions of the beams ultimately will be cut off even with the fascia above.
